Motorhomes and campers
Motorhomes and campers from model year 1990 – viewed at your place, a non-binding offer, collection and deregistration included.
Selling a motorhome privately takes patience. People want to view it at the weekend, ask about damp in the body, the gas system and the last MFK inspection, and then do not turn up. We buy motorhomes and campers from model year 1990, including ones with defects or that have been standing for a while.
When we come to see it, we look at what actually matters in a motorhome: whether the body is dry and sound, the state of the gas system, the base vehicle with its engine and mileage, the fittings and the paperwork. You then receive a non-binding offer. Collection is free anywhere in German-speaking Switzerland, and we handle the deregistration at the road traffic office as well.
Procedure
Enquiry — Give us the make, body type, model year and mileage, and send photos of the outside and the interior.
Viewing at your place — We check the body, seals, gas system and base vehicle where the motorhome is parked.
Offer — Non-binding after the viewing; only a purchase contract signed by both sides makes it final.
Collection — We pick up the motorhome free of charge, pay in cash against a receipt at handover and take care of the deregistration.
Questions
Will you buy a motorhome with damp in the body?
Yes. Water ingress lowers the value but does not rule out a sale. Tell us openly where it is damp – we will find it during the viewing anyway, and an offer based on the real condition holds up better than one that has to be revised later.
What should I have ready for the viewing?
The registration document, the last MFK inspection report, service records and any receipts for the gas system or fitted extras, plus the keys for both the vehicle and the living area. The more complete the paperwork, the easier it is to show what condition the motorhome is in.
How is the offer put together, and which details help?
We start from the basics: make, model, body type, date of first registration, fuel, gearbox and mileage, plus a few photos of the exterior, the interior and the odometer. The more you tell us about equipment, service history, the last MFK inspection and any known faults, the closer the first estimate will be to the final purchase price. What shapes the value is age, mileage, condition, accident history, a complete service record and how much demand there is for that model. You are welcome to name the price you have in mind, but you do not have to.
