Classic cars and motorcycles

Classic car or motorcycle: we view it where it is kept and make you a non-binding offer afterwards – no listing, no strangers in your garage.

A classic car or a motorcycle rarely meets the right buyer through a listing. Whoever replies wants to look, test-ride, negotiate – and the worth of a classic cannot be read off three photos. We buy classic cars and motorcycles, whether cherished and regularly driven or parked for years with the marks of standing still.

Value works differently for a classic than for an ordinary used car: originality of the engine, body and interior, completeness of the paperwork, the history of the vehicle and the condition it is in after years in a garage or out in the open. That is why we only make an offer after seeing the vehicle – non-binding, and without you having to move it anywhere.

Procedure

  • Describe the vehicle — Make, model, model year, mileage and whatever you know about its history.

  • Send photos — All four sides, the interior, the engine bay, the type plate, the odometer and the documents give us a first impression.

  • Seeing the vehicle — We look at it where it is kept and follow up with a non-binding offer.

  • Contract and collection — Once both sides have signed, we arrange the transport, pay you at handover in cash against a receipt and deal with the deregistration.

Questions

Which documents add value to a classic?

The registration document, old inspection reports, invoices for restoration and servicing, photos from earlier years, the owner's manual and, if you have them, papers from the original delivery. Anything that proves the history makes the vehicle easier to assess – and a well-documented classic earns a better offer.

Do you buy motorcycles that are no longer registered?

Yes. A motorcycle that has stood in a garage for years without plates is fine. What we need is the registration document and a look at how it has coped with standing still: tyres, brakes, carburettor and tank tell us a lot about how it was stored. We arrange the transport.

How is the offer put together, and which details help?

We start from the basics: make, model, body type, date of first registration, fuel, gearbox and mileage, plus a few photos of the exterior, the interior and the odometer. The more you tell us about equipment, service history, the last MFK inspection and any known faults, the closer the first estimate will be to the final purchase price. What shapes the value is age, mileage, condition, accident history, a complete service record and how much demand there is for that model. You are welcome to name the price you have in mind, but you do not have to.
